Stephen was born and raised in Northern New Jersey where he performed in numerous high school and community play house theater productions throught his teen years.

Five years after moving to California in 1977 Stephen B began his comedy career in the San Francisco Bay Area and within a few years, he was featuring in comedy clubs up and down the West Coast. By 1990, Stephen was headlining clubs across the country and developing a reputation for being a clean high energy act.

After marrying his wife Jane in 1988 Stephen started offering custom comedy shows for corporate clients which took off like wild fire! Combining his stand-up with his acting talent Stephen provided clients with numerous shows in the corporate sector posing as the event's "guest speaker" at company functions.

"These shows made for a wild ride as there were times that I didn't know what I was getting into. One time I worked for a client at Stanford University at a patent awards dinner in front of literally the smartest people in the world. I was hired to pose as an author and expert in the patent process. It was a great hit until fifteen minutes in when I revealed to them my identity. You should have seen those faces."

Stephen B has done a lot in 26 years including raising a family of three boys who are now teenagers with Jane his wife of 20 years. Comedy remains a passion as Stephen has expanded his audience to include speaking engagements and stand-up comedy to churches of all denominations. He is also working on a book that he hopes to have completed in January of 2009.

Stephen B has opened for headlining musical acts such as Manhattan Transfer, Al Di Meola, Weird Al Yankovic, Leon Redbone and Michael Bolton. He is co-starring in the new movie Allies Sleep Over Club . Watch the trailer here!

A finalist in both the San Francisco and the Seattle Stand-Up Comedy Competitions Stephen B. has performed on a variety of Comedy Central's Stand-Up Comedy shows and was featured on America’s Funniest People. Stephen B. lives with his wife Jane and their three boys in Elk Grove, California.

Stephen is also a member of New Life Community Church in Elk grove and serves on thier leadership team and is the drummer for the worship team.
